Memory Lane

I got this from my friend Tanya's blog. Play along if you'd like.

1.As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you have of Craig, Hunter or I. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you can remember!

2.Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how amny people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory, I'll assume that you are playing the game and I will come to your blog and leave a memory about you. If you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory as one of my comments.

For Janae:

I remember a time when we dressed up in some old clothes/dresses and took pictures of each other in your back yard. I still have the pictures.

I remember the snake by your back yard tree and how much you hate snakes.

I also remember once a birthday party sleepover and as a favor we took home a satin pillowcase.

Thanks for leaving me a comment. I feel the same way as you do. It's nice to share an experience with someone so you don't feel so alone. Plus the bonus is that we have kids the same age! I love all the good time we have together at work. I liked when we played games with our hubby's. I say "liked" cause now it so hard to get out and do anything. Hunter is the best cuddler. We need to make some more memories, but now with our kids too!

Oh my Janae, where do I begin on this one?! I could start with the time we duct taped the cup to the car roof and drove around, or the time or two that we saran wrapped someone's car. There are just too many times that we've nearly peed our pants laughing while trying to pull over some type of shenanigan. Perhaps my favorite might be the time we bought all the Barbie heads at DI and delivered them on our friends' door steps or maybe when we filled a certain someone's Blazer full of shredded newspaper. I'm pretty sure icecream was involved in most of these instances! Sure love ya and think you're great!!

I have this thing on my blog too, it is pretty fun!
I remember a sleepover with me, you, Jeanette, and Brandi and we dressed you and Jeanette up. Jeanette was really tired so she was mad that we were making her dress up.
I also remember Rufus, your gay dog! That always made me laugh.
I also remember all the eaerly mornings driving to cheer practice together. It sure was fun being on the squad together.
Times were really good back in the days of the 13th ward. We had a lot of fun together. Sometimes I look back and pray that I will never be put in the Young Women's with a group of girls like we were. I'm afraid to say that we were probably a bit crazy and abnoxious. oh well- we had fun right?!?

Hi Janae- Here's a random one. We went to the mall and got tons of perfume samples and then put them in the air vents in my truck. That was a stinky truck for a while. Also, remember the time the lightning was chasing us when we were driving in my mom's mini-van and we were just screaming? I though we were going to die. You are so much fun!

Remember when the transmission went out in your parents' van? I think it only went in reverse or 1st gear or something like that. So instead of turning left in a busier intersection, we turned right and tried to turn the van around. Then instead of having the car towed, your dad drove it toward your home about 100 feet at a time.

I remember our 4th year overnight hike at girls camp. The weather was so miserable they let us sleep inside some sort of little storage building and you proved everything I had heard about ticks was wrong. You absolutely CAN squish one if you put enough muscle and dedication behind a tennis shoe. You were our hero!

More than anything I remember your awesome sense of humor. You were always making me laugh in cheer. Remember that time that Chanelle didn't quite clear the hurdle at the football game? Ha ha, I used to love how your retold that story. You are such a fun girl!
