What's the big deal?

NO DEAL!!
My friend Kim and I couldn't miss out on the excitement of the Deal or No Deal casting call this weekend, so we hauled ourselves down to R.C. Willey to stand in line with thousands of other crazy people. Craig and Hunter came along for fun, but after standing in line for about 3-4 hours in the sun they were done. Kim and I still had about another 3 hours of standing still to go when they left. It was fun seeing all of the insane people. We met a man who had painted his head gold. There were a lot of other crazies trying to be different and stand out. We ran in to my mom and Gina. My mom being the friendly lady she is, bonded so much with the people she was standing in line with that they are planning to come to Clayson's homecoming in July! When we finally got close to where the judging was there was so much excitement it was crazy. People were yelling and screaming. The girl next to me kept practicing her choregraphy that accompanied her singing "I'm Every Woman" (I guess she thought it was American Idol). Finally after standing in line for close to 7 hours we got our chance to talk about ourselves for 20 seconds and make our lives sound as interesting as possible. I didn't make it past the first round ( i guess I'm not very interesting), but my mom and Kim both made it to the 2nd. Supposedly there were 4 rounds you had to make it through to get a shot at being on the show. They were choosing 5 people out of the 15,000 who showed up. Suprisingly none of us made it. Oh well. It was just fun to be there. It's not everyday I get to spend several straight hours chatting with one of my favorite buddies, so it was a good day. We don't need your money Howie!!!

Happy Easter

Hunter enjoying his first visit from the Easter Bunny!

Mini-Me

Everyone says that Hunter is his daddy's boy, but they don't know just how true that statement is. Not only does Hunter look just like his dad, but he acts more like him every day. He is a big tease just like his dad. He enjoys ripping his binky from his mouth and tossing it to the ground and then errupts into giggles as I go scrambling to find it. We repeat this game many times. He also furrows his brow just like his dad while deeply concentrating on tasks that require much focus like removing his socks or turning the pages of a book. On Monday we went on a picnic with Carolee and Danika. When we sat the two babies next to each other Hunter immediately reached out and took Danika's hand. So he's a big flirt like his dad. Hunter has also decided that no one compares with daddy, not even mommy. If Craig is in the room and not holding or paying attention to Hunter there is quite the meltdown. It doesn't matter if anyone else is in the room giving him all the love and attention a little man could handle, only daddy matters. So here are some pictures of Hunter being the little version of daddy we all love.
Dresssing like Dad.
Sleeping like Dad.
Working out like Dad.

Flirting like Dad...
(Mom definitely approves of this match!!)
