Babysitter Blues

So anyone I talk to on a regualr basis knows that Tuesday's I am usually scrambling to find someone to watch Hunter while I go to work. We lost our Tuesday babysitter about 2+ months ago and it has been crazy finding places for Hunter to go. Finally, I found the cutest girl to watch him. She is so sweet and just graduated from high school. Hunter loved her and she was so good with him. Unfortunately for us, she is moving sooo... back to frantic Tuesdays. If anyone knows of someone who would be interested in babystting, I would totally appreciate any referrals. It's hard leaving little ones with just anyone. Thanks a ton!

Lot's of Fun!

The last couple of weeks have been so busy. We have been able to do some fun things. Last week Hunter and I went to the park with Carolee and Danika. The kids had fun watching us throw bread at the ducks, seagulls and geese. Carolee and I mostly feared for our lives as we were swarmed by geese who had no inhibitions about getting too close to us... those geese have something evil about them, you can see it in their eyes. The kids also had fun in the park swinging and sneaking wood chips into their mouths for a taste test. I enjoyed some much needed girl talk. Thank goodness for good friends.

Last Saturday Craig took Hunter for the day so I could get caught up on some housework. They drove up to Oakley, Idaho to visit his sister. We love Oakley and the family we have there. Hunter had a good time picking dandylions and hanging out with Aunt Stacie and the cousins.

Wednesday we went up to Midway to put flowers on my grandpa's grave. I can't believe he's been gone for 4 years now. We always bring red flowers because that was his favorite color. While we were there we introduced Hunter to some horses. Hunter wasn't too sure about what he thought of those horses.

Craig and I teach the CTR 8 class in primary. Every week I am amazed by some of the wacky things kids will say. So here are a few of our favorites.

Child giving closing prayer: "Dear Heavenly Father, please bless us that when we go to visit and eat dinner that nobody gets in a fight with grandma."
. . .
Primary teacher: "When Jesus asked John the Baptist to baptize him, what did John the Baptist say?"
Primary Boy: "All hail Jesus!! Get in the water!!"
Primary teacher: "Not quite."
. . .
Primary Teacher: "Today I have paper and crayons for you to draw a picture of someone using the priesthood."
Primary Boy: "Can I make a priesthood teepee?"
